Debbie Nahshon, Principal

Debbie Nahshon is a Principal of Nahshon Associates, Inc., providing a wide range of services to nonprofit organizations, specializing in the areas of fundraising, marketing, communications, and strategic development to promote nonprofit financial sustainability.
A veteran nonprofit executive with extensive background in the development of organizations with the support of effective strategic fundraising strategies, Debbie works with nonprofits in the realms of education and healthcare, assisting them in the active engagement of lay leadership, the identification of prospective funders, the development of effective fundraising strategies, marketing and public positioning to support fundraising efforts, and the creation of fundraising outreach initiatives that provide the resources necessary to fulfill the organizational mission. Over a 30-year career, Debbie has been instrumental in helping valued organizations raise tens of millions of dollars through both strategic and hands-on fundraising. Through that process, she has gained a wide range of expertise, established extensive professional networks, and honed strategic as well as creative skills that enable her to provide clients with guidance regarding the planning and implementation of effective fundraising outreach.
In Israel, Debbie has worked as a broadcaster, news reporter, and writer for Israel Radio; a senior program executive at Channel 2 TV; Executive Director of the Israel Women’s Network; and a senior communications executive at for-profits and nonprofits, including Luz Industries Israel and the Masorti Movement. In the US, Debbie served as Executive Director of the American Friends of the Ghetto Fighters’ Museum; Director of the Merrin Institute at Dorot; Director of Development and National Project Director/The Kehilla Partnership at the Bergen County YJCC; National Director of Development for the National Ramah Commission; and development consultant for a wide range of educational and healthcare organizations. She is a graduate of the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations and has a Masters of Science from the Hebrew University.

Nadav Nahshon, Principal
Information Technology Practice
Nadav Nahshon is a Principal of Nahshon Associates, Inc., providing information technology solutions for over twenty-five years and filling leadership roles both in corporate IT and as a senior consultant to international clients.
Nadav has devoted major portions of his career in Information Technology within the Pharmaceutical Industry, in support of the end-to-end drug development life cycle, from discovery and drug development through clinical development, commercialization, and post-marketing surveillance. He has had the opportunity to contribute to world-class Life Sciences organizations, including Merck, Pfizer, Novartis, The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Daiichi Sankyo. Nadav also has extensive experience in Healthcare, having developed solutions for organizations including Hadassah University Hospital, Express Scripts (formerly Medco), and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Other industry experience includes: Publishing, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail and eCommerce, Public Utilities, and Nonprofits.
Nadav’s areas of strength include an attention to detail and an unusual ability to serve as a trusted intermediary between business and IT constituencies, resulting in successful design of system solutions that both meet business requirements and perform efficiently. He is also a highly effective and experienced project manager and implementation team leader.
Nadav has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, certification in Systems Analysis from the Israel Productivity Institute, and a master’s degree in Information Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Additionally, over the course of several years of active military service and a decade of reserve duty in the Medical Corps, he acquired valuable hands-on clinical experience in working directly with many medical professionals and treating thousands of patients. He is also an experienced teacher and trainer, an accomplished writer, and has given well-received presentations at professional conferences and user groups.
